Odisha Police Celebrates 91st Foundation Day: A Proud Celebration of Service and Dedication

A grand and grand ceremony was organized at the Reserve Police Station, Cuttack, to mark the 91st Raising Day of Odisha Police. Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and received the felicitation at the parade.

A well-organized parade was displayed by various battalions of Odisha Police during the ceremony, which reflected the professionalism, strength and dedication of the police force. The musical performance by the police band also made the event more interesting.

DGP Shri Khurania in his address recalled the glorious journey of the police force for 91 years and appreciated the invaluable contribution of Odisha Police in maintaining law and order in the state, cooperation during natural calamities and social service.

He further said that in the coming days, special emphasis will be given to cyber crime, anti-drug campaigns, women and child safety and smart policing. He mentioned that community policing will be given priority to further strengthen the relationship and trust with the people.

Several police officers and employees were awarded for their excellent service, bravery and dedication to duty at the function. This honour recognizes their dedication and professionalism.

Odisha Police on this occasion reaffirmed its strong resolve to make the state a safe, peaceful and drug-free society.
