4th Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo 2026 Concludes Successfully in Bhubaneswar

The four-day 4th Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo 2026, held from January 8 to 11 at Baramunda Ground, Bhubaneswar, concluded on a grand note, reaffirming Odisha’s position as one of India’s leading hubs for mining, infrastructure and industrial development. The mega event was organised by Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd. in association with Laghu Udyog Bharti, Odisha Chamber of Commerce and IPICOL.

Spread across 30,000 square metres with participation of over 250 national and international companies, the Expo brought together policymakers, industry leaders, global technology providers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and young professionals on a single platform to showcase cutting-edge innovations in mining, construction, infrastructure, automation, digital solutions and sustainable technologies.

The inaugural and subsequent technical sessions witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries including Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Industries & Skill Development Minister Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon’ble MSME Minister Shri Gokula Nanda Mallik, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Hemant Sharma, senior bureaucrats, MPs, MLAs, and leading industrialists. Swami Prem Anweshi, Chairman, Futurex Group, Dr. T.K. Chand, Former CMD, NALCO and Chairman of the Organising Committee, and Mr. Namit Gupta, Director, Futurex Group, played key roles in steering the event.

Addressing the gatherings across different days, speakers highlighted Odisha’s vast mineral wealth, strong policy support, robust infrastructure, skilled manpower and its emerging role as India’s Mining Capital and a future Global Mining Machinery Hub. Emphasis was laid on green mining, net-zero targets, ESG compliance, digital transformation, AI-driven operations, rare earth minerals, and sustainable industrial growth.

A major attraction of the Expo was the participation of international companies and the announcement that future editions will feature a dedicated “Rare Earth Show”, positioning Odisha as a strategic destination for critical minerals and clean energy technologies.

The Expo also hosted high-level seminars, B2B meetings, live technology demonstrations, Change Maker Awards for women achievers, and felicitation of industry leaders for their outstanding contributions. The event witnessed heavy footfall from students, professionals, entrepreneurs and the general public, reflecting growing interest in the mining and infrastructure sectors.

The valedictory session on January 11 was graced by senior government officials, industry captains and cultural icons, where the organisers reiterated their commitment to make the Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo one of the largest and most influential global platforms in the sector.

The successful conclusion of the 4th Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo 2026 marks a significant milestone in Odisha’s industrial journey, fostering innovation, investment, employment generation and sustainable development, while strengthening the state’s vision of becoming a global leader in mining and infrastructure.
