All schools in the state will reopen from the 20th

Summer vacation is over; time to reopen schools approaches In just 3 days from now, i.e., from June 20, all schools in the state will reopen. Earlier, schools were scheduled to reopen on June 18, but the date has now been extended to June 20. The Department of School and Mass Education has written a letter to all District Education Officers regarding this change.

Keeping the intense summer heat in mind, schools were closed from April 22 by the School and Mass Education Department. With the reopening, special responsibility has been assigned to headmasters and principals to ensure that students’ studies resume normally and the academic year 2025–26 runs smoothly.

All teachers must report to school by 9:30 AM and remain present until 4:30 PM in the afternoon.

Additionally, the District Education Officers have directed all teachers, office staff, cleaning workers, and cooks to report to school from June 19. They will clean classrooms and the school premises. The cleaning will cover everything from classrooms to toilets.

As per the instructions, classrooms, school campuses, and water tanks will be cleaned. Overgrown grass will be trimmed, and all furniture will be cleaned and made ready for students to use.
