Big Recruitment in Prasar Bharati – Applications Open for 100+ Posts

The News Service Division (NSD) of Prasar Bharati has released a recruitment notification for several posts including Copy Editor, Editorial Executive, Guest Coordinator, News Reader, and News Reader-cum-Translator. The official notification was published on August 20 on prasarbharati.gov.in, and the application process has already started.

The vacancies include Assistant AV Editor (15 posts), Copy Editor (18 posts), Copy Editor-Hindi (13 posts), Editorial Executive-English (5 posts), Editorial Executive-Hindi (3 posts), Guest Coordinator (2 posts), News Reader-English (11 posts), News Reader-cum-Translator-Hindi (14 posts), Sanskrit (3 posts), Urdu (8 posts), Business Reporter (2 posts), English Reporter (8 posts), Legal Reporter (3 posts), and Sports Reporter (2 posts).

For eligibility, different educational qualifications are prescribed for different posts. Candidates should hold a graduate degree, diploma/degree in Journalism, or a PG degree in English/Hindi journalism, along with at least 2 years of experience in print, TV, radio, or digital media. The age limit varies between 35 to 40 years depending on the post.

The salary for selected candidates ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹40,000. The selection process may include a written test or interview, and the appointment will be on a contractual basis.

The application process is simple. Candidates need to visit prasarbharati.gov.in, open the relevant recruitment notification, and click on the “Apply Online” link. They must fill in the required details, upload a photo and signature in the correct format, and finally submit the form. A printout of the submitted application should be kept for reference.
