CARI, Bhubaneswar Strengthens Patient Care with Inauguration of Physiotherapy Clinic and Speciality Clinics Block

The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Bhubaneswar, an institute under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, is set to further strengthen its patient care services with the inauguration of a Physiotherapy Clinic and Speciality Clinics Block at the Institute premises on 02 March 2026.

The facilities will be inaugurated by Prof. Vd. Rabinarayana Acharya, Hon’ble Director General, CCRAS, in the august presence of Shri Debasis Satapathy, Chief General Manager (HRM), NBCC. The Physiotherapy Clinic has been established through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of NBCC, reflecting a collaborative effort towards improving healthcare infrastructure and patient rehabilitation services.

The newly developed Speciality Clinics Block includes dedicated clinics such as Cancer Clinic, Liver Disease Clinic, Stree Roga (Women’s Health) Clinic, Marma Chikitsa Clinic, Leech Therapy Clinic, and other specialized Ayurveda services aimed at addressing chronic and lifestyle-related disorders through holistic treatment approaches.

The introduction of these speciality clinics will enable patients to access focused consultation, specialized therapies, and evidence-based Ayurvedic management under one roof. The Physiotherapy Clinic will complement Ayurvedic treatment modalities by providing rehabilitation support, pain management, mobility improvement, and post-treatment recovery care, thereby enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

This initiative represents a significant step towards expanding integrative healthcare services and improving accessibility to affordable and quality Ayurvedic treatment for the public. The Institute continues its commitment to promoting traditional healthcare systems through research-driven clinical services for the benefit of society.
