General Dwivedi warns Pakistan: “Operation Sindoor–2.0 will begin if needed”

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the border areas of Sriganganagar to review the country’s preparedness against terrorism. He also met with BSF officials during his visit.

Issuing a stern warning to Pakistan, he said—“If the neighbouring country does not stop supporting terrorism, the Indian Army will not show restraint this time. If required, Operation Sindoor–2.0 may be launched.”

General Dwivedi recalled that during Operation Sindoor–1.0, the Indian Army had destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and eliminated around 100 Pakistani soldiers and terrorists.

At the Anupgarh Army Post, he reiterated—“This time, we will not exercise restraint. Pakistan must decide whether it wants to safeguard its existence or continue with state-sponsored terrorism.”
