In the Hockey Asia Cup, which began today in Rajgir, Bihar, the Indian team started its campaign with a victory. In the opening match, India defeated China 4-3. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored a hat-trick, while Jugraj Singh added one goal.

The match between India and China began at 3 PM on Friday. In the first quarter, India came under pressure as China scored to take the lead. However, in the second quarter, Team India bounced back with great energy, scoring two goals within two minutes. Jugraj scored in the 18th minute, and Harmanpreet followed with a goal in the 20th minute.

Later, in the 33rd and 47th minutes, Harmanpreet Singh scored two more goals from penalty corners, strengthening India’s position in the game.

For China, Liyo Du Xinhao, Chen Benhai, and Gao Zhisheng scored one goal each.
