The latest ICC Men's Player Rankings update has brought significant boosts for in-form stars from Australia and South Africa, alongside notable progress for New Zealand Test performers.
In the T20I batting charts, Tim David has surged six spots to a career-best 10th after dominating the opening two matches against South Africa. Fellow Aussie Cameron Green has also risen six places to 17th. South African sensation Dewald Brevis was the biggest mover, leaping from outside the top 100 to 21st following his record-breaking 125 in Darwin — the highest T20I score by a South African man and the highest ever against Australia. Teammate Tristan Stubbs climbed 12 spots to joint 27th.
In the T20I bowling rankings, Josh Hazlewood (up to 20th), Kagiso Rabada (equal 44th), and Lungi Ngidi (50th) have all made gains.
The Test rankings also saw shifts after New Zealand’s 2-0 series sweep over Zimbabwe. Matt Henry, Player of the Series with 16 wickets at 9.12, has moved to a career-best third in Test bowling, overtaking Australia’s Pat Cummins. Rachin Ravindra (23rd), Devon Conway (37th), and Henry Nicholls (47th) improved in the Test batting list.
In ODIs, West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie rose to 12th, with teammates Jayden Seales (33rd) and Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed (54th) also making progress.
