Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has made history by scoring a brilliant 112 runs against England in the first T20I. Thanks to her powerful innings, Team India posted 210 runs in the allotted 20 overs, and then bowled out England for just 97 runs, winning the match by a massive 113 runs.
With this century, Mandhana became the first Indian woman to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket — Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Her first international century came in 2016 against Australia in ODIs. In 2021, she scored her maiden Test century, also against Australia.
The first Indian cricketer (male or female) to score a century in all three formats was Suresh Raina. He scored 101 runs against South Africa during the 2010 T20 World Cup, a Test century against Sri Lanka the same year, and his first ODI century came in 2008 against Hong Kong.
Rohit Sharma was the second Indian to achieve this milestone. He scored his first ODI century in 2010 against Zimbabwe, his first Test century in 2013 against the West Indies, and his maiden T20I hundred in 2015 against South Africa.
