‘Ama Bus’ service to remain suspended after 3 PM today on account of Diwali celebrations

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, a festive atmosphere prevailed across various parts of the state today. From villages to cities, people lit lamps, burst crackers, and decorated their homes with lights to celebrate the festival with joy and enthusiasm.

Considering the festive mood, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) announced through its official X (Twitter) handle that the “Ama Bus” service will not be available after 3 PM today.

CRUT also informed that its helpline service will remain operational only till 3 PM.

The “Ama Bus” service has become one of the primary means of daily public transport for thousands of commuters in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and nearby areas. It has earned the trust of the people as a reliable public transportation option.

After this short break, the “Ama Bus” service will resume normal operations tomorrow, October 21 (Monday). Passengers will be able to travel as per their usual schedule.
