The schedule of the Cricket Asia Cup 2025, to be held in the UAE, has been slightly modified. To avoid extreme heat, the timings of several matches have been adjusted. Out of the 19 matches, 18 will now begin 30 minutes later than the originally scheduled time. According to the revised timings, the matches will start at 6:30 PM local time (8:00 PM IST). Earlier, they were scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
The Asia Cup will begin on September 9 and continue till September 28. The tournament will be hosted in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In September, the daytime temperature there reaches around 40 degrees, and the heat persists till late evening. Due to this, the cricket board has decided to change the match timings. As per the new schedule, all day-night matches will start at 8:00 PM IST.
However, the timing of only one match has not been changed. That match will be played between the UAE and Oman. It will take place at 5:30 PM local time on September 15 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
