A major opportunity has opened up for students aspiring to become teachers, as the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, has officially announced the entrance examination schedule for admission into B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.H.Ed courses for the academic session 2026–27.

As per the official notification, the online application process will commence from March 23, 2026, and will continue till April 6, 2026 through the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) portal. Candidates are required to fill up the Common Application Form (CAF) within the stipulated time.

According to the schedule, the last date for submission of applicant data to the State Selection Board (SSB) is April 13, 2026. The admit cards will be made available from May 27, 2026 onwards.

The entrance examinations will be conducted as follows:
B.Ed परीक्षा: May 31, 2026
M.Ed & B.H.Ed परीक्षा: June 3, 2026

The selection of candidates will be strictly based on merit, determined through performance in the entrance examination. Thousands of aspirants are expected to appear for the test this year, making it a highly competitive process.
