CM Mohan Majhi to Hear Public Grievances Today at State Guest House in Bhubaneswar

The Odisha government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, continues its commitment to public service by actively engaging with citizens’ issues. Today, the Chief Minister will personally hear public grievances at the State Guest House office in Bhubaneswar from 3 PM to 5 PM. During this session, he will receive complaint letters from people coming from different parts of the state and take necessary steps for their resolution. This initiative reflects the government’s approach to inclusive governance and transparent administration. With the Mohan government completing one year in office, such outreach programs have significantly enhanced the Chief Minister’s popularity and strengthened the people’s faith in the government.

The Chief Minister's grievance redressal program has undergone structural improvements since the change in government, with better organization and accessibility. Importantly, the location of the grievance cell has now shifted. Notably, on April 21, the first ever grievance hearing camp was held outside Bhubaneswar in Sambalpur, where people from Sambalpur, Bargarh, Subarnapur, Jharsuguda, and Balangir districts, among others from Western Odisha, came forward to present their grievances directly to the Chief Minister.

Special arrangements were made during that camp for senior citizens and people with disabilities, reflecting the inclusive nature of the administration. Today’s grievance hearing at the Bhubaneswar Guest House marks another step in the government’s consistent efforts to directly interact with the public, understand their difficulties, and offer prompt and practical solutions. This people-centric approach reinforces the image of a government that is approachable, responsive, and dedicated to public welfare.
