The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha has officially released the first merit list for +2 (Class 11) admissions for the academic session 2025-26. Thousands of students across the state had applied for admission into various streams-Arts, Science, and Commerce-through the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) portal. According to the released data, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack has once again emerged as the top choice among applicants, leading across all three streams. The institution recorded the highest cut-off percentages in Science, Commerce, and Arts, reflecting its consistent academic excellence and reputation. Cut-off marks for top colleges in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, and Sambalpur also remained competitive. Students who made it to the first selection list must confirm their admissions by July 11, either online or by visiting the allotted institutions with original documents for verification. The second selection list is expected to be published on July 18, depending on seat vacancies. Meanwhile, helpline centers have been activated across districts to assist students with admission queries.
