With the joint support of ISKCON Brahmapur, Lanjipalli, and the Utkal Padayatra group, a Nagar Sankirtan was organized yesterday in Brahmapur city. On this occasion, hundreds of devotees joined the Sankirtan procession, dancing and singing the holy names with great joy.
The Utkal Padayatra, which is traveling thousands of kilometers from Sri Dham Mayapur to Sri Kshetra Puri Dham with a beautiful bullock cart, reached the Silk City of Brahmapur last Saturday. From there, ISKCON Brahmapur led the Sankirtan procession and took it back to the temple.
In the Sankirtan Padayatra held on Sunday evening, ISKCON Brahmapur President Sriman Pancharatna Prabhu and ISKCON Utkal Padayatra President Sriman Dheeranaya Prabhu participated, sharing the history and glory of the Padayatra while inspiring the assembled devotees. Many senior brahmacharis, grihastha devotees, and Sanatan-loving youth also took part, joyfully engaging in kirtan, witnessing the divine evening arati of Sri Sri Nitai Gaurasundar, and partaking of prasadam.
