Sambalpur, Odisha: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, one of India’s premier business schools, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Sri University (SSU) to foster innovation, research, and holistic learning. The partnership aims to build a long-term academic and research collaboration through joint initiatives such as workshops, research projects, publications, and student exchange programmes.
The signing ceremony was graced by the divine presence of Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of Sri Sri University, and attended by Prof. Mahadeo Prasad Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur, and Prof. (Mrs.) Rajita Kulkarni, President, Sri Sri University, along with senior officials and faculty members from both institutions.
Under this MoU, both institutions will jointly organise workshops, seminars, webinars, and short-term courses focusing on emerging fields such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and allied domains. The collaboration also envisions a dynamic student and faculty exchange programme, enabling experts from both institutions to share knowledge, deliver lectures, and co-develop academic modules at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Students from both institutions will participate in collaborative academic and experiential learning projects, supported by reciprocal arrangements for accommodation and logistics. Additionally, IIM Sambalpur and SSU will engage in joint research and publication activities, seeking funding from national and international agencies and co-authoring research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
