Indian Dominance in ODI Rankings: Rohit at the Top Again

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ODI rankings. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has regained the No. 1 position. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, who was at the top last week, has slipped to the second spot. Mitchell’s rating dropped as he missed two matches in the ODI series against the West Indies.

Rohit Sharma currently has 781 rating points, while Mitchell has 766 points. Rohit will be part of the ODI series against South Africa starting on November 30. Apart from Rohit, Shubman Gill (4th) and Virat Kohli (5th) are also in the top 10 of the ODI batting rankings. Shreyas Iyer has slipped one spot to 9th position.

In the Test batting rankings, Yashasvi Jaiswal has dropped one spot to 8th and is the only Indian in the top 10. In the Test bowling rankings, Jasprit Bumrah continues to hold the No. 1 spot. Mohammed Siraj has moved up one position to 11th.

After defeating India 2–0 in the home Test series, South Africa has climbed one spot to second place in the Test team rankings. South Africa has also improved in the WTC points table and is currently placed second.
