Indian-origin Nikhil Ravishankar is set to become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air New Zealand from October 2025. After serving the airline for nearly five years, he will formally take charge on October 20, as announced by the company on Wednesday. Nikhil, who is currently the airline’s Chief Digital Officer, has contributed significantly in areas like technology, loyalty programs, and customer experience. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Vector and Accenture. He said, “I’m honored to lead Air New Zealand. Aviation is complex, and safety remains the core of every decision.”
