As Iran-Israel tensions escalate, MEA issues helpline for Indians; evacuation process underway
In view of rising tensions and instability in the Iran-Israel region, the Government of India has taken swift measures to ensure the safety and assistance of Indian nationals. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has established a 24x7 control room in New Delhi to monitor developments and provide immediate support to affected Indian citizens.

The Indian government has also initiated evacuation efforts for citizens stranded in Iran. According to official sources, the first batch of around 100 Indian nationals is expected to arrive in Armenia tonight, from where they will be brought back to India.
This comes as the Iran-Israel conflict enters its fifth day, with missile strikes causing numerous casualties and infrastructure damage. Some Indian students in the region are also reported to be stranded and are being relocated to safer areas.
