The much-awaited pan-India film Kantara Chapter-1 has finally been released. Made in the Kannada language, the film once again features Rishab Shetty mesmerizing audiences with his unique style. While the previous film Kantara (2022) won the hearts of viewers, this time the story returns with a prequel, offering audiences a grander cinematic experience on a bigger canvas.

The film’s posters, looks, music, and character depictions had already generated huge excitement among fans. Therefore, expectations are set even higher this time.

Alongside Rishab Shetty, the film stars Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah in key roles. The recently released trailer has received a positive response from audiences, clearly reflecting the rising anticipation for the film.

Rishab Shetty has established himself in Kannada cinema as an actor, director, and producer. He began his acting career in 2012 with Tuglak and went on to play an important role in Ulidavaru Kandanthe (2014). In 2016, he made his directorial debut with Ricky and achieved massive success the same year with Kirik Party. The film earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Director and the SIIMA Award for Best Director.
