Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination 2024, for which the Preliminary exam will be held on 12th October 2025 (Sunday). A total of 200 vacancies have been notified under Group A and Group B posts, which include services such as the Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Finance Service, Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service, Revenue Service, and others. The online application process was open from 10th January to 10th February 2025. The Preliminary exam will consist of two objective-type papers, each carrying 200 marks with a duration of 2 hours. There will be negative marking of one-third for every wrong answer, and Paper II will be qualifying in nature, requiring candidates to score at least 33%. Eligible candidates must hold a graduate degree, be between 21 to 38 years of age, and possess proficiency in the Odia language (reading, writing, and speaking). The selection process will be conducted in three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Interview/Personality Test. The admit card for the prelims exam will be released around 7 to 10 days before the exam date.
