The results of the Independent OTET Examination for the current year have been declared today. The OTET-2025 examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on September 27 has been officially announced. Remarkably, a total of 66.50% of candidates have qualified this year, marking a significant improvement compared to previous years.
This year, a total of 75,403 teachers (for Paper-I and Paper-II combined) registered for the OTET examination. Out of them, 72,413 candidates appeared in the exam. The pass percentage for both papers has been recorded separately.
In Paper-I, 12,988 candidates qualified, taking the pass percentage to 47.17%. This is considered important for primary teacher eligibility, although a slight decline has been observed compared to the previous year. On the other hand, 35,165 candidates qualified in Paper-II, pushing the pass percentage to 78.35%. BSE stated that this high success rate will help meet the demand for teachers at the upper primary and secondary levels.
Overall, 48,153 candidates have qualified in OTET-2025. The overall pass percentage of 66.5% has been termed satisfactory by the board.
The examination results are available on the official website of the board, www.bseodisha.nic.in. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number or registration details. The board has also announced that the option to download certificates will be made available soon.
