Yash Dhull’s brilliant century powered Central Delhi Kings to a 15-run victory over North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League on Saturday. Due to rain, the match was reduced to 16 overs per side.
Batting first, Central Delhi posted 197/7. Yash scored a stunning 101 off 56 balls, smashing eight fours and seven sixes. He was well supported by Jugal Saini, who made 63 off 28 balls.
In reply, North Delhi Strikers started strongly with Sarthak Ranjan and Arnav Baga adding 85 runs for the opening wicket. Baga smashed 43 off just 13 balls. However, disciplined bowling from Jonty Sidhu, Simarjit Singh, and Tejas Barosa ensured wickets at regular intervals, restricting Strikers to 182/9.
