The Board of Secondary Education (BSE Odisha) has officially declared the results of this year’s Matric Supplementary and Open School Second Examinations today, Saturday, at the board office. A total of 3,457 students had appeared for the Matric Supplementary Examination, out of which 1,944 students passed, recording a pass percentage of 56.23%. In the Open School Second Examination, 10,809 candidates appeared and 5,973 cleared the exam, making the pass percentage 55.26%.
Students received their results via SMS and could also check them online on the official BSE Odisha website (bseodisha.ac.in) by entering their roll numbers. From August 18, students will be able to download their digital certificates, while hard copies will be distributed through schools about a month later.
Speaking at a press conference, BSE President Srikant Tarai said, “For the convenience of students, the SMS and digital certificate system has been introduced. We have ensured transparency and speed in the examination process.”
The exams were conducted between June 30 and July 10, followed by the evaluation of answer sheets from July 14 to 20. The results were processed and declared within just two weeks.
