4th Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo 2026 Inaugurated in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, January 8, 2026: Odisha marked a significant milestone in India’s mining and infrastructure landscape with the grand inauguration of the 4th Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo 2026 at Baramunda Ground, Bhubaneswar, on Thursday. Recognized as India’s largest exhibition dedicated to mining and infrastructure, the four-day mega event will continue till January 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with free entry for all visitors.

The prestigious Expo was inaugurated in the distinguished presence of Shri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Founder of Odia Daily Sambad & Kanak TV and former MLA; Shri Soumya Ranjan Samal, CMD, KCC and Ambassador of the Expo; Shri Gopaldas Agarwal, President, Laghu Udyog Bharti; Shri Swami Prem Anveshi, Managing Director, Futurex Group; and Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Former CMD, NALCO, eminent industry expert and Chairman of the Organising Committee, along with several senior industry leaders and dignitaries.

Organized by Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with Laghu Udyog Bharti, Odisha Chamber of Commerce, and IPCOL, the Expo has brought together key stakeholders from the mining, construction, and infrastructure sectors from India and across the globe.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said,
“It is encouraging to see a mining expo of this magnitude being organized in Bhubaneswar. The event provides a vital platform for technology exchange, industry collaboration, and sustainable mineral development. I extend my best wishes for the success of the Expo.”

Shri Hemant Sharma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha, who visited the Expo, remarked,
“I am pleased to witness the high-quality participation at this Expo, which effectively showcases advanced mining technologies, automation solutions, and digital innovations. Such platforms play a crucial role in improving safety standards, operational efficiency, sustainable mining practices, and technology-driven growth in Odisha’s mining ecosystem.”

Highlighting the international participation, Shri Swami Prem Anveshi, Managing Director, Futurex Group, stated,
“This year’s Expo has witnessed strong global engagement, with leading organizations from Russia, Germany, Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan presenting next-generation equipment and innovative solutions. Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Chairman of the Organising Committee, said,
“Spanning over 30,000 square metres, the 4th Mining & Infrastructure Expo is comparable to leading global mining exhibitions and is expected to attract nearly 20,000 visitors. Our vision is to promote sustainable, pollution-free mining while positioning Odisha as India’s green mining hub and a major centre for mining equipment manufacturing. The Expo also aims to encourage entrepreneurship in the sector.”

The Expo features over 300 participating companies, showcasing state-of-the-art mining machinery, advanced infrastructure solutions, and innovative services addressing the evolving needs of the industry. Prominent exhibitors include Tata Hitachi, JCB, Vedanta, Propel, KCC, HP, MR Crusher, Ocean Conveyors, Saksham Casting, Trishul Tread, UTKAL AGRO INTERNATIONAL, IREL, and many others.
