Aama Bus caught fire on the road in the middle of the capital

A major mishap occurred on Saturday morning at Kalinga Studio Square in Bhubaneswar. A passenger bus, while in motion, suddenly started emitting smoke. Within moments, the smoke turned into flames and the bus caught fire. Seeing this, the passengers panicked and immediately got down from the bus to save their lives. Fortunately, everyone managed to escape in time, and there were no reports of any fatalities or serious injuries.

According to preliminary investigation, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical system of the bus. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot, rescued the passengers, and regulated traffic in the area. Fire tenders also arrived and, after considerable effort, brought the blaze under control. The bus was almost completely gutted in the incident. The police and the transport department have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
