Utkal Hospital Organises ‘Pink Marathon’ to Mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Utkal Hospital successfully organised the “Pink Marathon” today morning, starting at 6:30 AM. The marathon began from the hospital premises and concluded across a 3-kilometre route in the Niladri Vihar area.

On this occasion, Utkal Hospital CEO Mr. B.K. Subodh Singh, senior doctors Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, and Dr. Arya Kumar Banidatta graced the event. Renowned film actress Ms. Debajani also attended as a guest and encouraged the participants.

The main objective of this Pink Marathon was to promote awareness about breast cancer prevention, early detection, and timely treatment. Volunteers and awareness campaigners participating in the event were also felicitated for their contribution.

At the conclusion of the programme, the CEO and senior doctors of Utkal Hospital presented medals to all participants as a token of appreciation.

The hospital management extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, guests, and supporters for contributing to this noble cause and spreading the message of health awareness across society.
